FUNDING AND DEVELOPMENT
Social investment is a financial tool, usually a loan, which balances financial repayments with social impact.
Many of the challenges our young people experience are complex and embedded, requiring a longer-term solution. Our social investment programme provides patient capital to support organisations to grow and develop.
Eligibility to our social investment programme is wider than for our grants programmes, though our geographical preferences and improving outcomes for young people remain our overall objectives. We are an access point for the reach fund, so can provide support to take a fledgling idea into a robust business plan.
Interested in Social Investment?
We would encourage you to contact the team for an informal discussion before applying for Social Investment.
The Francis Scott Trust are introducing changes to their grant making processes. Some eligibility and priority criteria will be changing too. These changes are in effect for all future applications and funding decisions. We have introduced a new stage which requires an expression of interest to be submitted before which full applications will be invited.
The next deadline for submission of expressions of interest is December 19th at 5pm.
