SPECIAL PROGRAMMES
Youth work funding has been cut by as much as 74% in the northwest since 2010*. Yet it is a positive factor in many young people’s lives, supporting their social and emotional learning, essential life skills.
Helping to address this gap, is Better Tomorrows. It’s a partnership programme funding new youth work posts in Cumbria and levels 2 and 3 youth work training.
Administered and facilitated by the Cumbria Community Foundation and delivered by Cumbria Youth Alliance, Francis Scott is a founder member and provide oversight and support via the steering group.
You can find more information and how to apply here.
The Francis Scott Trust are introducing changes to their grant making processes. Some eligibility and priority criteria will be changing too. These changes are in effect for all future applications and funding decisions. We have introduced a new stage which requires an expression of interest to be submitted before which full applications will be invited.
The next deadline for submission of expressions of interest is December 19th at 5pm.
