FRANCIS SCOTT TRUST
This fully-funded and demanding three-year programme equips participants (aged 20-30) with the skills and knowledge to lead charitable and not-for-profit organisations.
The Peter Scott Award, which was created to commemorate his legacy, recognises individuals working in the voluntary sector who share his passion for the area, his interest in people, and his philanthropic values.
Providing steady and reliable access to core funding for eligible organisations, this programme is also about strengthening relationships. It’s the place for candid and open discussions to drive high-quality youth provision.
20 young people are being trained and supported to design and create their own grants programme. They will distribute £60k of funds to youth groups across the areas who meet the criteria they set.
Better Tomorrows is a partnership programme funding for new youth work posts in Cumbria and for youth work training at levels 2 & 3
The Francis Scott Trust are introducing changes to their grant making processes. Some eligibility and priority criteria will be changing too. These changes are in effect for all future applications and funding decisions. We have introduced a new stage which requires an expression of interest to be submitted before which full applications will be invited.
The next deadline for submission of expressions of interest is December 19th at 5pm.
